Argument 1 -- Matter Exists
Have you ever wondered where everything come from? Have you ever
asked yourself why you're here? The fact is, you do exist.
Everything in the cosmos is made up of matter or energy. Where
did this matter and energy come from? Has it always been here? Was
it created, or can we chalk up its existence to some accident?
Interestingly enough, the very fact that matter exists creates a
thorny problem for the atheist. If matter was created by Deity, then
there is a plausible explanation for our existence. If matter was not
created by Deity, then where did we come from? You see,
it takes just as much faith to affirm that God did not create us as
to believe that He did. |
