The previous four studies have explained that there is a God,
that He has spoken to us, that He sent His Son to earth, and that
the Bible reveals God's complete will for us.
So what do you have to do to take part in
God's will?
The Bible speaks of three different times when
people began their journey toward salvation.
Read Acts 2:37, 9:6, and 19:31.
In each case, the person or people involved have
already heard, understood, and believed the four points we've
studied so far in this course. In each case, the next thing the
person or people did was ask, "What must I/we do to be
saved?" Being saved is the first step in taking part in
God's will.
In Acts 2:38, the multitude asks this question of
Peter, who answers: "Repent, and let every one of you be
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your
sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
