Today, many people feel that to become more
"spiritual" requires change or innovation. Yet, the
worship in the early church was simple -- and still spiritual.
If we find the spiritual worship of the New
Testament boring or in need of change, perhaps that is a reflection
of our own spiritual condition. Is this worship outdated, or is it
simply challenging to those seeking to entertain themselves? In the
church that Jesus built, worshippers seek to worship god in the way
that Jesus instructs. |
