Christian Evidences
One of the most fascinating areas of study is that of Christian evidences. Christian evidences can be defined as those things found in the Bible that attest to the fact that God is the supreme intelligence that created mankind and the earth and universe in which He lives; and who provided His word, the Bible, to direct man in living acceptable lives in dedication to Him. When we begin a study with someone concerning his soul, we must first have a knowledge of his or her belief that God does, indeed, exist and that the Bible is His word to mankind. Should it be necessary to devote some time to a study of these things before addressing what he/she must do in order to be saved, it may become that which may assist in that person’s eventual conversion. And if they become a child of God, it may also strengthen their faith and allow them to be a more productive servant to their Lord.
The evidence is overwhelming that the Bible is God’s Word to man. In it can be found no contradictions; it never needs to be updated. It is completely accurate scientifically and it stands apart from other religious writings in its reliability in all areas. Archeological finds, development of medicine and science, geographical records, etc have continually pointed to the divine authorship of this Holy Book.
