Gospel meeting with David McPherson      May 4-6, 2007

12-Apr-2007

David McPherson was born in Bowling Green, KY and raised in Morgantown, KY. He is a graduate of Butler County High School and Murray State University. David devoted his life to preaching the gospel in 1996, and has worked with churches in Kentucky, Missouri, and Indiana (Belleville).

David preaches six gospel meetings a year, edits a weekly bulletin and newspaper article, conducts several home Bible studies, and occasionally writes for religious journals. His articles have appeared in Back To Basics, Truth Magazine, and Biblical Insights.

David is married to the former Sonja Lou Price (Huntingdon, TN).  They have three daughters: Raegan (7), Avery (4), and Baylee (2); with another baby due in July.  The McPhersons currently reside in Mayfield, KY, where David labors with the church of Christ at Sutton Lane.

David always does a great job of speaking directly from Holy Scripture pointing us to "book, chapter and verse" for what he preaches.  We look forward to a most profitable weekend in this study as we closely examine a number of characteristics of the Lord's church.  We invite you to attend this meeting and be with us as we study together what the Bible has to say on this subject.   The lessons and times are listed below.

David' s lessons will examine the following topics and allow us to answer the questions

"What does the Bible say about . . ."

Friday ~ What the Church Is?                                                  7pm
Saturday ~ One Church Being As Good as Another?              5pm
Sunday Bible class ~ The Church and Unity?                          9am
Sunday AM worship ~ Salvation and the Church?                10am
Sunday PM worship ~ My Responsibilities To the Church?    6pm

Each lesson will be available after the meeting on audio cassette or CD.  They may also be downloaded at our website (click on Sermons) in MP3 or Windows Media format.   Note that the Windows format includes the visual presentation of the Powerpoint slides used and Powerpoint software is not needed on your PC to see them.
