1. Introduction
   • Certain events mark very significant milestones in a person's life...
   • The same is true concerning Jesus' life...
2. Jesus' ascension mean that...
   • Jesus accomplished the work for which He came. (Jn 17:4; Eph 4:10b)
   • Jesus has been glorified in His heavenly reign. (Phil 2:8-11; Acts 2:22-36; Eph 1:18-23)
   • Jesus sent the Holy Spirit. (Jn. 15:25-26; 16:7-8; Acts 1:4-8;2:1-4,33; Jn. 16:13a)
   • Jesus is preparing access to heaven (Jn 14:1-2; Heb 6:19-20)
   • Jesus is now serving as our High Priest. (Heb 4:14-16)
   • Jesus has tiumphed over death, Hades, and Satan. (Eph 4:7-8; 1Jn 3:7-8; Rev 1:17-18)
   • Jesus is coming again. (Jn 14:3; Acts 1:11)
3. Conclusion
   • Consider all that is marked by His ascension back to heaven, all for our benefit and blessing...
   • Will you take advantage of those blessings?
   • Just has He left & will return - will you be ready?
